{Frozen Peanut Butter Cacao Banana Bites}
Try to get over how long the name is. “Banana Bites” just wasn’t as accurate.
1 banana
freshly ground peanut butter
——
Slice the banana into bite sized pieces. Top with fresh peanut butter and sprinkle with cacao nibs. [Sometimes I will sprinkle these with crushed good quality dark chocolate if I have a bar on hand.] Freeze for at least 30 minutes.
These are SO good! Seriously. Make them!
These look a whole lot tastier than the frozen banana oatmeal cookies I posted about a while back. Think I’ll replace my skinny monkey recipe with these!
Question: what the heck are raw cocoa nibs? Would chocolate chips work?
Raw cacao nibs are like chocolate in a really pure form; raw and uncooked. they have lots of health benefits!!!~ Normal chocolate chips would probably work though.
P.S. To the author, this recipe looks absolutely delicious!! It has officially made my “must-try” list. 😛
Let me know what you think! Thanks for doing the explaining for me, too!

I want to try for Trent – my fruit averse kid might like this!
Put it on a popsicle stick and call it ice cream. He will love them! I’d definitely sub chocolate for the cacao nibs for him though.
